Isles Link Checks 12/31/11

Well, it's the final day of 2011. Which means it's on the 2012 part of the New York Islanders 2011-2012 season. The Islanders end this part of the season 13-17-6. With still 46 games remaining in the seaon, the Islanders really need to be huge in this next part of the season.

The past two games the Islanders have played were some of the best games they've played all season. With a 3-1 win over the Calgary Flames on Thursday and a win this afternoon over the Edmonton Oilers, the Islanders will have a lot of confidence in 2012.
