Fisher's Favs 6/18/13

Welcome to this edition of Fisher's Favs. This week features some Isles related articles and Stanley Cup Final updates as well. Hope you are all enjoying the finals. How exciting is a series in which the first two games are decided in overtime? I am always happy to watch the Stanley Cup finals, no matter the teams. Absolutely can't wait until the Isles are back on the ice. Here goes:

Rob McGowan

"Catching Up With Travis Hamonic" Rob with a fascinating interview with an Isles favorite defensman. Great stuff here and you gotta love Hamonic.

Matthew Solomon/Rant sports

"Was Tavares Snubbed in Hart Trophy Voting?" Matthew gives some insight on the voting for MVP, and politics of hockey. My take: JT will earn this award many times going forward.

Casey Drottar/Rant Spors

"2013 Stanley Cup Finals: What we've Learned" Casey has an indepth look at the final so far, in which Boston seems to have taken the momentum away from Chicago.

Dee Karl/Hockey Buzz

"Mark Streit's New Deal"  Dee examines Streits new deal with the Flyers, as he leaves our Islanders. Some good insight on Garth Snow.

Down Goes Brown

"NYR Head Coaching Vacancy Questionnaire"  A hilarious take on what a candidate may need to become Rangers head Coach. Love this; you have to read :)

Well folks, that's it for this week. Enjoy the rest of the Stanley Cup Finals!!
